Since is mounted on a cradled artists's panel, it can be hung as-is, does not require glass or frame.

This painting was done with the wonderful "Winsor & Newton" new Oilbars, an artists' quality oil colour in stick form. They have a great buttery consistency and very rich oil colour. Is a very versatile way of painting and drawing at the same time– from sketching, to sgraffito effects, whether used on its own or with tube oil colour. You can dilute them with mediums like Liquin or odorless thinner to create all kind of effects.

The complete line has a spectrum of 50 colours! I'm missing a few more of my favs since they were on back order: Winsor Blue (Red Shade), Permanent Alizarin Crimson  Titan Buff & Gold.

The Colourless Oilbar is the equivalent of linseed oil in traditional oil colour, and is mostly used for blending and glazing colours directly on the canvas. It serves as a medium in solid form.
