Recently, a medical emergency threw all my carefully constructed plans into complete disarray. I was reminded of a saying: "Life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans."
My mother is dying from "Congestive Heart failure".
Anticipating the loss of someone you love is a terrifying and traumatic time. Specially when that person has a life threatening or terminal illness. You are torn in two: one side is full of hope that the person will survive, the other full of fear and dread that he or she may not.
The illness and decline of someone close to you, especially as the end draws near, is one of the most testing times in your life.
I will be away at least till Sept. 21st.
In the meantime remember to stay creative at all times.
I will be taking my sketchbook.
